Earth Day is here again! With only 75 days to go, thousands of groups and individuals are planning events all around the world.

If you are organizing an event, remember to promote your activity by registering it on Earth Day Network's global Earth Day event registry! It's easy, fast, and will allow others to find your event and, more importantly, attend.

If you haven't decided what to do on Earth Day, here are some ideas:

  • Collect signatures on EDN's Sky Petition appealing to the government of the United States to cap greenhouse gas emissions. You can also adapt the petition to send to your local leaders.
  • Increase awareness of the different kinds of low-carbon energy that are available to energy consumers in your market by presenting information on them at your Earth Day event.
  • Give out information on the environmental records of your local and national leaders and political parties to help people decide whom to vote for or talk to about climate change. Bring telephones to your Earth Day event to invite people to call their leaders too

BIKE, WALK OR RUN TO AN EARTH DAY EVENT AROUND THE WORLD!

To help you carry out the best Earth Day events possible, EDN is pleased to offer you our diverse Resources, including our Organizer's Guide.
