| Water Innovation Funding now available from the Smart Water Fund |
Smart Water Fund The Smart Water Fund is now inviting applications to share in new funding for innovative water projects as part of its Open Innovation Stream.Applications are open to businesses, research institutions and individuals across Australia, and the funding will support projects that investigate new technologies and approaches to water management, and demonstrate a benefit to Victoria's water industry. "We're releasing this funding as part of our continued commitment to support innovation in the Victorian water sector, through investment in projects that have tangible returns whether they be water savings, cost savings or improved sustainability outcomes," said Smart Water Fund Chief Executive Officer Christine Cussen. Funding applications will be reviewed under new eligibility and assessment criteria, which includes a move to a more efficient, two-stage application process. Generally, the Smart Water Fund will consider applications in the range of $100,000 - $500,000 and projects should deliver knowledge, products or solutions that:
