EcoVoice
I must say that driving the Smart car was a treat right from the start. After familiarising myself with the operation, I was soon zooming down the freeway in my usual driving style which is red faced, vein popping and fist waving. After the initial few days I thought it my duty to test the vehicle somehow and decided on driving in a manner similar to the mini/police car chase in the first version of the Italian Job. However, I then re-read the contract and decided that this was probably not a good option. The car itself was surprisingly zippy and deceptively spacious in the driving compartment. It was also extremely fuel efficient and easy to park and attracted a lot of attention everywhere I drove. Whether this was because of my constant maniacal screaming or the sleek styling of the car I am unsure, but everyone I took for a drive was extremely impressed and all said they would like to own one. A Smart Car would be an extremely wise choice for any individual or business, and I cannot recommend highly enough the advantages of driving these cars in an urban environment. Either way it would be a step in the right direction for any that purchase one of these special vehicles. I can't wait to use my unique placement skills again, and hope that this prize is on offer again next year. Heartfelt thanks to Mercedes Benz and the Banksia Foundation for supporting business and green innovation. On a more personal note I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our subscribers and those who choose to post comment on Eco Voice in 2010. I wish you all a safe and memorable festive season and look forward to your continued support. Happy Sustainable New Year, Peter Stewart General Manager - Eco Voice/Carbon Market
