Keep Australia Beautiful & Eco Voice welcomes more exposure for the 'No Junk Mail' initiative

EcoVoice

no-junk-mailHave you seen our Community Service Announcement on your local TV station?

People have been dropping us a line letting us know that they have seen our Community Service Announcement on their local TV stations. This exposure is helping us to get more stickers on letterboxes and reducing more and more unwanted Junk Mail. So thank you to the TV stations and to the individuals and groups who have supported and/or joined the initiative last month.

See us on YouTube.

Does your retail business produce a printed or online catalogue as part of your marketing mix?

Keep Australia Beautiful & Eco Voice are encouraging people to reduce waste & litter in the community by asking people to say 'No to Junk Mail' and to read their catalogues online. Already a number of schools / community groups / sporting clubs have come on board promoting the Keep Australia Beautiful / Eco Voice initiative.

For people who would prefer not to receive unsolicited mail in their letterbox EcoVoice has created a ‘No Junk Mail’ sticker.  50c from each $1 sale is donated to Keep Australia Beautiful. You can read catalogues online at Eco Voice or go direct to the relevant company or retailer website.

Here is the opportunity for your retail business......

Simply send your latest catalaogue (saved as a PDF, maximum 40 pages) to Eco Voice and we will upload it to Eco Voice for a small monthly fee.

This is a very cost effective and environmentally friendly way to get your message out to a large audience. (over 25,000 subscribers + Internet + TV exposure).

This month we welcome the Sleepy's Mattresses catalogue: www.ecovoice.com.au

Keep Australia Beautiful need a lot more supporters........so please get involved today!

Every No Junk Mail sticker has the potential of reducing senseless waste & litter!

There are around 8,000,000,000 (8 billion) paper catalogues delivered around Australia each year for around 23 million people. That is a lot of printed paper. To produce these catalogues just stop and think of:

  • the number of trees used to produce the paper
  • the amount of water used
  • the fuel & energy required for production and distribution
  • the chemicals used in the printing process
  • the CO2 that is released into the atmosphere
  • the amount of paper rubbish that ends up in landfill

It is time to reduce this senseless waste and say "No to Junk Mail" - read your favourite catalogues online at Eco Voice.

The Challenge

Keep Australia Beautiful needs help to get "No Junk Mail - I read my Catalogues Online at Eco Voice" stickers on as many letterboxes across Australia as possible.

Bundles of stickers are available for schools, community groups & sporting clubs to use as fundraisers to spread the word and make revenue for your other sustainability programs.

So get involved today and you will be helping the environment by:

  • reducing the junk mail litter that ends up on our streets
  • saving water and paper used in printing the catalogues
  • raising funds for your school or group eco project and helping Keep Australia Beautiful
