International World Parks Day
Between 10 am and 2 pm pick up a ‘World Parks Day Kids Activity Passport' at Paperbark Grove, Centennial Park, and follow the flags to a range of free entertainment, which include pony rides, face painting, a Taronga Zoomobile, ranger programs, dog training demonstrations, kids carp fishing and all kids leave with a goodie bag! Hunt for bugs, play some games and pot some seedlings with a ranger. If you're 8 to 18 years you may have a chance to catch the biggest (or smallest) carp and win a prize pack! Join the ‘Muscle Sprouts' team for some fun and healthy games. Get your face painted like a bat, butterfly or fairy. Pack a daypack and join us in the Paperbark Grove (off Parkes Drive opposite Centennial Parklands Dining) and embrace all that this wonderful urban park has to offer you and your family. Saturday 18 September 2010, 10am-2pm, World Parks Day Place, Centennial Park (off Parkes Drive opposite Centennial Parklands Dining) www.centennialparklands.com.au Phone (02) 9339 6699
