First ever SIRF SustainAbility National Forum
SIRF SustainAbility Roundtable

sirfThe SIRF SustainAbility Roundtable for Industry in Victoria with support from Sustainability Victoria has organized the first ever SustainAbility National Forum. To be held at Bayview on the Park on 7th September 2010 in Melbourne, it will showcase excellence in sustainable business practices and provide opportunities to share innovative ideas for embedding sustainability in organizations.

The Forum will comprise a day of learning and networking under one roof where experts and practitioners will present big picture vision and practical case studies in the area of sustainability.

A highlight of the Forum will be the address from our keynote presenter - Professor John Thwaites, Chair of the Monash Sustainability Institute, Climate Works Australia and the Climate Group. John was Deputy Premier of Victoria from 1999 until his retirement in 2007. During this period he was Minister for Health, Minister for Planning, Minister for Environment, Minister for Water and Minister for Victorian Communities. John will present the "Low-cost Carbon Roadmap for Australia".

Practitioner presentations from sustainability and environment managers from companies such as Fosters Group, IAG and Siemens, plus smaller companies like Complete Colour Printing and Australian Arrow will reveal their unique methods of engaging staff and taking sustainable practices to a very high level.

The Forum will be of value to all who have sustainability within their job description - whether from large or small business, all levels of government or consultants.
